Positioning
The Tigershark 10 Foot Power Switch raises the performance bar for skiers who want to ski fast all day on firm snow. With all the same construction technologies as the 12 Foot, the 10 Footer has a 121-73-105 shape for high-speed carving, and the Power Switch to allow the skier to decide how hard he wants to ski.

Its range andaggression are truly legendary. Like their namesake, Tigershark skis have incredible range. The two new Tigershark shapes match sharp, aggressive sidecuts with a modern waist platform, and the result is nothing short of the most exciting new skis to attack the whole mountain in a long time. The Motion iPT system, along with Völkl’s signature Extended Double Grip construction ensure the smooth, silky ride you’re used to on a Völklall-mountain ski. A breakthrough product should have a breakthrough look, and the Tigershark features a new chrome topsheet. It’s pre-formed with a layer of fiberglass before going into the mold, and the combination of the two materials yields a reactive, quick edge response combined with a smooth, stable ride.
Power ON / Power OFF
While developing the Tigershark, Völkl engineers sought to offer the highest possible level of versatility and personalization. To this end they created the world’s first on-board ski power adjustment, the Power Switch™. Power Switch™ consists of dual carbon fiber rods encased in full-length longitudinal "tuning tubes" inside the chambers of the Extended Double Grip construction. Moving the switch from off to on compresses elastomer-regulated springs at the front of each rod, increasing the ski’s power. The result is the ultimate in personalization for the end user. If the skier wants to ski hard, with a lot of power, getting the most rebound and energy from the ski, the switch should be on. Turn it off, and the skier can relax, take it easy, and just cruise.
