| The original concept for the 2009 Line Sir Francis Bacon skis started when Eric Pollard decided to develop the most unconventional yet progressive freestyle skis ever made. He named it ‘The Elizabeth’. His goal was for the Elizabeth to handle less like traditional skis and more like a snowboard. The Elizabeth was hugely popular and inevitably there were calls for a ‘big brother’ version… and so the Sir Francis Bacon was born at 182cm.
