A new model from K2 featuring a traditional camber profile, but utilizing their Volume Shift design- adding the correct amount of board width for carving deep, but without sacrificing any feeling of responsiveness. It highlights their Tweekend design in the board's nose, to make floating through powder fields feel like a dream. Instrument's super durable Bambooyah Core is light, sustainable, and backed by an industry leading five year warranty against breakage. Carbon Torque Forks are extended from insert to insert and edge to edge for easy energy transfer- helping you navigate tricky terrain. The core with all its tech is hugged snuggly in ICG 10 Biax Fiberglass, infused with tip-to-tail carbon stringers. Predictable edge tracks holding you into hard snow. K2 uses a fast and resilient Sintered 4000 Base for the Instrument- to soak up wax and offer multi-season durability. Play the mountain like a fiddle on the new K2 Instrument.

ICG CARBON GLASS: Integrating tip-to-tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass layups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity. We offer ICG&trade ;Glass in two variations; ICG&trade ;10 Biax and ICG&trade ;20 Triax.
BIAXIAL GLASS: Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0° and 90°, creating a more forgiving flex pattern.
CARBON TORQUE FORKS™: Adding carbon that extends from the inserts to the contact point allows for an extra responsive and stable ride.
SINTERED 4000 BASE: Our Sintered 4000 base absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivaled durability.
