With over 30 years of experience under our belt we are here to not only offer top of the line goods and services, but also expert knowledge and recommendations in diverse areas within the field.
What's in the name? -
So, why Colorado? Colorado Ski Shop was opened by a simple man with a simple dream - to share his love of the outdoors with his community. The first major ski area in Colorado dates back to January 1940 and since then the sport continued to grow and thrive. The war during the time was a major contributing factor to the growth of the sport in Colorado despite tow ropes not running. The inspiring, lengthy, and strong skiing history of Colorado is exactly why we choose the name. So, what's in the name? It's more than name, it's a story! It's a dream!
